Privacy policy
This policy explains what Mazie collects, why, who can see it and the choices you have. It applies to mazie.app and to the Mazie waitlist. We wrote it in plain words on purpose. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain.
Who we are
Mazie helps medical assistants (MAs) see how their pay compares to local clinic postings and lets approved clinics send them interview requests. Mazie is launching first in Central Arkansas. Right now Mazie is a waitlist. The MA app and the clinic dashboard come later. When we say “Mazie,” “we” or “us,” we mean ScribeNow LLC, doing business as 32010 Technologies, which operates Mazie.
What we collect
From MAs who take the Pay Check or join the waitlist
- Pay Check answers: your credential, years of paid MA experience, skills, whether your BLS or ACLS is current, whether you speak Spanish with patients, specialties, charting systems, the shifts you can work, whether you would work at more than one location, the city you live in and your job search status.
- Pay: what you make now per hour. Once the app is live, also the minimum pay you set.
- Where you work now: the name of your current employer, or that you are not working as an MA right now.
- Contact details: your full name and your cell phone number or email address.
- Consent record: the exact consent text you agreed to and the time you agreed.
- Referral details: your personal invite code and, if a friend invited you, their code.
From clinics that request early access
- Clinic name, your name, your work email and how many MAs you expect to need.
From people who ask us to open in their city
- Your city and your cell phone number or email.
Collected automatically
- How you found us: the ad or link that brought you to Mazie (UTM tags and the Facebook click ID) and the first page you landed on. We keep these in a cookie for 30 days and save them with your signup.
- Device details: your browser's user agent, which tells us the type of browser and device.
- Spam protection: a one way, scrambled version of your IP address (a hash), used only to limit how many forms can be sent from one connection each hour. We do not store your IP address itself.
How we use it
- To run your Pay Check. We compare the pay you enter with recent local MA postings and show you where you land.
- To build your profile for approved clinics. When Mazie opens, clinics we have approved by hand can see your first name, credential, experience and skills. They do not see your last name, your contact details, your current pay or your current employer.
- To hide you from your current employer. This is the only thing we use where you work now for.
- To build local pay ranges. We may combine answers from many MAs to describe pay in an area. We never show or share any one person's pay.
- To contact you. If you agreed, we text or email you about your profile, when clinics start recruiting and, once the app is live, about interview requests. You can reply STOP to any text or ask us to stop emailing you at any time.
- To review clinics. We use clinic request details to check each clinic by hand before it can search.
- To measure our ads. We count which ads bring people to Mazie so we can spend less on ads that do not work. See “Cookies and the Meta pixel” below.
- To keep Mazie safe. We use the information above to prevent spam, abuse and fake profiles.
What clinics see, and when
- Clinics can only search after we approve them by hand.
- An approved clinic sees your first name, credential, experience and skills.
- A clinic gets your contact info only after you book an interview with that clinic. Other clinics still do not get it.
- No clinic ever sees your current pay or where you work now.
- Your current employer is blocked from seeing your profile at all.
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never show any clinic your current pay or your current employer.
- We never share your contact info with a clinic before you book an interview with it.
- We never share your mobile number or your texting consent with anyone for their own marketing. Text messaging consent is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Verifying credentials
To keep profiles honest, we may check your credential with the group that issued it, such as AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT, before your profile goes live. We share only what is needed to confirm the credential, such as your name and credential type. If information turns out to be false, we may remove the profile.
Service providers we use
We use a small number of companies to run Mazie. They handle data for us under contract and may only use it to provide their service to us.
- Supabase hosts our database.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend sends our emails.
- Meta and Google help us measure how our ads perform.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the safety of our users or the public, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. If that ever happens, this policy keeps applying to your information unless you agree otherwise.
Cookies and the Meta pixel
We use a few small cookies:
- Attribution cookie (30 days): remembers the ad or link that brought you here and your first page.
- Invite cookie (60 days): remembers the friend who invited you, so they get credit if you join.
- Meta pixel cookies: if the Meta pixel is turned on, Meta sets cookies that help us measure our Facebook and Instagram ads.
The Meta pixel only receives plain page and step events, such as “viewed a page,” “started the Pay Check,” “saw a result” or “signed up.” We never send Meta your answers, your pay, your employer, your city, your tier or your contact details. Meta may combine these events with what it already knows about you under its own privacy policy. You can control ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, your browser settings and your phone's privacy settings. Mazie works fine if you block these cookies.
Your progress in the Pay Check is kept in your browser tab so a refresh does not lose it. It clears when you close the tab.
How long we keep data
- Waitlist profiles: until you ask us to delete them, or until we close the waitlist without launching in your area, whichever comes first. When the app launches, your waitlist answers move into your Mazie profile.
- City requests: until we open in that city and tell you, or two years, whichever comes first.
- Clinic requests: for as long as the clinic is considering or using Mazie, then up to two years.
- Spam protection hashes: about one day.
- Consent records: as long as we keep your contact details, and for a reasonable time after, so we can show you agreed to hear from us.
Deleting or changing your data
Email hello@mazie.app from the email address or about the phone number you signed up with, and we will delete everything you gave us, or correct it if you prefer. Once the app is live, you can also delete your account yourself. We may keep a minimal record that you asked us not to contact you, so we can respect that request.
How we protect it
Your information is stored in a database that the public cannot reach. Only our own server code can read or write it, using a secret key that never reaches your browser. Data is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, but we work to keep your information safe and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
Adults in the US only
Mazie is for adults 18 and older who live in the United States. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 signed up, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change is important, such as a new way we use your information, we will also tell you by text or email before it takes effect if we have your contact details. This version was last updated October 12, 2026.
